how i've grown as a writer

I have grown a lot as a writer i remember that i didn't know where to put punctuation marks. i didn't know where to put a period i remember that i really didn't have good English writing skills when the English teacher would read my work she would just put it back down. but ever since i started to say to my self that i have to get good grades and need to make a change and ever since that i have started to make progress. But I'm not where i want to be in my writing skills level i know I'm not the best student out there but i do try my best and i really do put my heart and soul into my work because i really do care about my about my grades . But i learned a lot of writing strategies by our visitor Fredrick Rappaport . he taught us how to write a story just by writing 3 quick paragraphs. he taught us how to think fast and come up with great ideas. When the last week came with fred we were supposed to do a screen play and show off our writing skills but i didn't finish it in time. Ever since i got switched to this class i really didn't feel comfortable when i would write but writing reflections at the end of the day every day really helped me express my feelings. Also what hepled me grow as a wrier was that we read a lot and after we read we do something called a double entry journal that helped me a lot too.mostly its because we write a lot and its good practice when we write reflections, double entry cornel notes Etc............... For when we have a big task to do we can put together all that we learned so i can make the best paper i have ever done in my life. but all this practice comes from the work the teacher gives us. now she tells us to get into groups of 5 and we pick a story we want to write and discuss about and then she gives us a paper called literature circle notes and there several topics i always pic the connector. But i read from the text i make sure i now the theme of the story what kind of writing style it is but mainly im getting better on my writing and thats how I've grown as writer
